New concept of Tahfidz learning is triggered to produce more hafidz at SDMT

sdmtponorogo.com – One of big dreams of SDMT is produce more Hafidz. SDMT make big effort to make the dreams come true. Therefore the concept of Tahfidz will be changed.Tahfidz is one of priority program at SDMT Ponorogo. It’s is proven by the application of new concepts of tahfidz learning.

Previously tahfidz was carried out 30 minutes before learning activities with each homeroom teacher, starting from the 2024-2025 school year, tahfidz will have schedule like other subjects.

That is 6 hours per week or 3 meetings. The number of tahfidz hours is more than other subjects. Tahfidz’s meeting hours match one of the National Examination subjects, namely Mathematics. The new concept of tahfidz learning was conveyed by the Head of SDMT Ponorogo, Imam Saiful Bahri, M.Pd. in the Work Conference (Musyker), Friday (28/6/2024).

There will be 8 competent tahfidz teachers assigned to teach tahfidz in 6 classes. Ustadz Imam said that the reason is to make tahfidz would be more focused on the target.

“When Tahfidz program taught by competent tahfidz teachers will lead to be more effective and optimal result” Said Ust. Imam.

SDMT Ponorogo has held Tahfidz Graduations for 6 times. Through this new concept, Ustadz Imam hopes that every year SDMT are can produce more and more qualified memorizers of the Qur’an.
