Danramil Siman’s Message for SDMT Students
Monday, August 19 2024, hundreds of SDMT Ponorogo students held a flag ceremony to commemorate the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. This ceremony was held in courtyard of SDMT.
Several sixth grade students were appointed as officers for the ceremony. Captain Inf Usman Efendi was present as the ceremony supervisor. The Commander of the Koramil (Danramil) Siman told a series of resistance from the Indonesian people until they were finally gain the independence that could be felt by the current generation of the nation.
He advised students to be enthusiastic about learning and increasing their knowledge.
“You have to be enthusiastic about learning, because in the future the competition will be very tough. Master science, technology and other skills,” he said.
He also advised students to respect and obey their parents and teachers so that the knowledge they gain full with blessings.
The students attended the 79th Indonesian Independence Day ceremony solemnly. After the ceremony, the students and teachers simultaneously held and waved a small red and white flag while singing the Independence Day song.
