35 SDMT Students Participate in Tahfidz Graduation at the Regency Pavilion

A total of 35 students from SDMT Ponorogo took part in the Tahfidz Graduation Ceremony for elementary school students across Ponorogo Regency, held at the Regency Pavilion on Saturday (May 24, 2025). The grand event was attended by approximately 1,400 students from various elementary schools throughout the regency.

From SDMT, 14 students were from Grade 6 and 21 from Grade 5. They had completed memorizing parts of the Qur’an, ranging from Juz 30, 29, 1, 2, 3, up to Juz 4.

The event was also attended by the Head of the Ponorogo Regency Education Office and the Regent of Ponorogo, Sugiri Sancoko, who delivered a speech and expressed appreciation for the students’ achievement in memorizing the Qur’an from an early age.

Students arrived at the venue as early as 6:30 AM and were seated according to their sub-district groupings. One SDMT student, Muhammad Farhan Al-Haidar, had the honor of representing SDMT in the public recitation session, along with 44 other student representatives from various schools. Haidar and the other representatives sat on the main pavilion stage to be officially inaugurated by the Regent of Ponorogo, Sugiri Sancoko.

This Tahfidz Graduation event stands as a testament to Ponorogo Regency’s commitment to nurturing a Qur’anic generation that is excellent, strong in character, and morally upright from the early stages of education.

35 Siswa SDMT Ikuti Wisuda Tahfidz di Pendopo Kabupaten

Sebanyak 35 siswa dari SDMT Ponorogo mengikuti prosesi Wisuda Tahfidz tingkat SD se-Kabupaten Ponorogo yang digelar di Pendopo Kabupaten, Sabtu (24/5/2025). Acara akbar tersebut diikuti oleh sekitar 1400 siswa dari berbagai sekolah dasar se-Kabupaten Ponorogo.

Dari SDMT, 14 siswa berasal dari kelas 6 dan 21 siswa dari kelas 5. Mereka telah menyelesaikan hafalan Al-Qur’an mulai dari Juz 30, 29, 1, 2, 3, hingga Juz 4.

Acara tersebut turut dihadiri oleh Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Ponorogo dan Bupati Ponorogo Sugiri Sancoko yang memberikan sambutan dan apresiasi terhadap capaian para siswa dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an sejak usia dini.

Para siswa tiba di lokasi acara sejak pukul 06.30 WIB dan duduk sesuai pengelompokan wilayah kecamatan. Salah satu siswa SDMT, Muhammad Farhan Al-Haidar, mendapatkan kehormatan mewakili SDMT dalam sesi uji publik bersama 44 perwakilan siswa lainnya dari berbagai SD. Haidar dan para perwakilan duduk di atas pendopo utama untuk dikukuhkan secara langsung oleh Bupati Ponorogo, Sugiri Sancoko.

Kegiatan Wisuda Tahfidz ini menjadi bukti komitmen Kabupaten Ponorogo dalam membentuk generasi Qur’ani yang unggul, berkarakter, dan  berakhlak mulia sejak jenjang sekolah.
