The Principal of SDMT Inaugurates the IPM Kids Management

Ustadz Jainal Abidin, M.Pd.I, the principal of SDMT Ponorogo inaugurated 70 new IPM administrators and 70 Disciplinary Team, on Monday (07/10/2024). The event which was held in the central courtyard was solemn. The new IPM administrators are the students of grade 5 who  passed a series of selection and training.

Hundreds of SDMT students witnessed the old IPM administrators hand over their positions to the new IPM administrators. Symbolically, Arza Prastya and Hira Dahayu Lauta representing the old IPM administrator handed over the duties to the new IPM administrator represented by Ahmad Hafidz and Kayla Rasya. This was followed by the old IPM administrators releasing the IPM neckerchief that had been worn as long as their duties. Meanwhile, the new IPM administrators wear duty vests. Through this procession, the new IPM administrators were immediately tasked for one year ahead.

In his speech, Ustadz Jainal Abidin, M.Pd.I emphasized the importance of the role of IPM in forming character and leadership among students.

“IPM is a forum for your self-development. A place to practice, instill good values, learn responsibility and leadership. “God willing, if you carry it out as well as possible, it will be very useful for the future,” he said.

Interestingly, Ustadz Jainal also mentioned that the establishment of IPM at SDMT is now entering its 10th year.

“For SD/MI level, SDMT will be a pioneer,” he continued.

The inauguration and handover procession ended with a joint prayer. All the new administrators are ready to carry out their mandate as part of IPM Kids SDMT Ponorogo.
