PCPM Holds Baitul Arqam, SDMT Provides Venue and Sends Participants

Youth always has a special place in Muhammadiyah organization. Because of this privilege, the Muhammadiyah Youth autonomous organization was formed. It is called Pemuda Muhammadiyah. Youth are the pioneers, proponents and perfecters of Muhammadiyah organization and are for da’wah movement of amar ma’ruf nahi munkar.

Pemuda Muhammadiyah must always experience renewal to continue sustainability. So, a training was held entitled Basic Baitul Arqam. PCPM Siman held this Basic Baitul Arqam on 28-29 September 2024. It was attended by approximately 50 people from the PCPM, PC IPM, PRPM, and one of them was from SDMT.

SDMT not only contributed in providing places, but also sent eight young people to join this activity. The eight young men were Ustadz Dian, Ustadz Kiki, Ustadz Gilang, Ustadz Joko, Ustadz Taufik, Ustadz Puguh, Ustadz Amsa, and Ustadz Rehan. 

During this activity there were many messages of support from several figures. Among them was the Police Chief of Polsek Siman, AKP Nanang Budianto. He expressed his belief that under Muhammadiyah organization everything would be extraordinary.

“I am sure and believe that under Muhammadiyah organization, all the top leaders will definitely be extraordinary,” he said.

He further advised that youth must have a strong ideology and character. Where this activity is the right time to form this. Because, according to him, Baitul Arqam is a means of instilling Islamic ideology and strong character in Islamic youth. Strong principally and physically

The Chairman of PDPM, Darmanto, viewed from other said that this activity was a means to understand the importance of association in Muhammadiyah. So that we will be able to welcome 2025 according to the vision of Great Ponorogo.
