P5 for 2nd Graders at SDMT Becomes a Moment to Explore Traditional Foods and Celebrate Friday Blessings

Second-grade students at SDMT Ponorogo carried out the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) through a showcase event on Friday, May 9, 2025. The project, titled “Traditional Food Exhibition,” invited students to explore the richness of Indonesia’s traditional culinary heritage.
The event was held in the Goodwill Hall of SDMT during the first lesson period until completion. From beginning to end, the atmosphere was lively and festive. A variety of traditional foods were displayed on booth tables by groups representing different regions. Each group presented a regional specialty and delivered a presentation about it.
Ustadzah Rika, the P5 coordinator, explained that through this project, students learn about various types of traditional foods, the ingredients used, how they are made, and the cultural values embedded within them.
In addition to presenting and introducing regional specialties, the activity also became a moment to seek blessings on Friday. It wasn’t only the second-grade students who enjoyed the food—teachers and staff at SDMT were also invited to taste the dishes.
“The snacks were shared among groups, and even SDMT teachers and staff joined in to enjoy them as part of the Friday blessings,” concluded Ustadzah Rika.

P5 Kelas 2 SDMT Jadi Ajang Mengenal Ragam Makanan Tradisional Hingga Jumat Berkah
Siswa kelas 2 SDMT Ponorogo melaksanakan implementasi Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) melalui kegiatan gelar karya pada Jumat, 9 Mei 2025. Proyek bertajuk “Pameran Makanan Tradisional” ini mengajak siswa kelas 2 untuk menggali lebih dalam tentang kekayaan kuliner tradisional Indonesia.
Acara digelar di aula gedung Goodwill SDMT pada jam pertama KBM hingga selesai. Acara berlangsung meriah sejak awal hingga akhir. Aneka makanan tradisional disajikan di meja stand dengan kolompok masing-masing sesuai nama daerah. Setiap kelompok menyajikan makanan khas daerahnya serta mempresentasikannya.
Ustadzah Rika selaku koordinator P5 mengatakan bahwasanya melalui proyek ini siswa akan belajar tentang berbagai jenis makanan tradisional, bahan-bahan yang digunakan, cara pembuatan, serta nilai-nilai budaya yang terkandung di dalamnya.
Tak hanya itu, selain menyajikan dan memperkenalkan makanan khas daerah masing-masing, kegiatan ini juga menjadi momen meraih keberkahan hari Jumat. Pasalnya, tak hanya para siswa kelas 2 saja yang dapat menikmatinya, namun guru dan karyawan SDMT juga turut mencicipinya.
“Jajanan tadi saling dibagikan antar kelompok, bahkan guru dan karyawan SDMT juga turut mencicipinya sebagai jumat berkah” Pungkas Ustadzah Rika.
